We are spiritual beings having a human experience.

January 5, 2024

Holistic health typically consists of addressing and nurturing the well-being of an individual as a whole, considering multiple interconnected aspects. But this blog I will concentrating on one aspect of Spiritual Health. This involves a sense of purpose, meaning, and connection to something greater than oneself, which can be attained through religion, meditation, or personal beliefs.

Sometimes we have the feeling of being a citizen of two worlds.  The inner world and the outer world. This is a common human experience. Here’s a bit more depth on this duality:

  1. Inner World:
    • Emotions: Your inner world is a realm of emotions, thoughts, and introspection. It’s where your deepest feelings and thoughts reside.
    • Imagination: Your dreams, aspirations, creativity, and imagination also form a significant part of your inner world.
    • Beliefs and Values: Your moral compass, beliefs, and values that guide your decisions and actions are part of your inner world.
    • Self-Reflection: Your self-awareness, self-reflection, and understanding of your identity and purpose are aspects of the inner world.
  2. Outer World:
    • Physical Environment: The outer world comprises the physical environment you live in—your home, city, nature, and the tangible things around you.
    • Social Interactions: Your relationships with others, society, and the way you interact with the external world are part of the outer world.
    • Culture and Society: Norms, traditions, and the culture you are part of shape your experiences in the outer world.
    • Responsibilities: Your work, daily tasks, responsibilities, and roles in the society are external aspects of your life.

The interplay between these two worlds can be complex. Sometimes, there’s harmony and alignment between your inner and outer worlds, leading to a sense of balance and contentment. At other times, there might be conflict, where your inner desires or beliefs don’t align with the demands of the external world, leading to feelings of discord or dissonance.

Finding balance and integrating with these two worlds is often a lifelong journey. It involves self-discovery, mindfulness, and aligning your external actions with your internal values and aspirations.

May the blessing of change bring you an abundance of joy, love, peace, good health and happiness for the month ahead and always.

Best regards,
