Why Holistic Esthetician?

A holistic esthetician means she attends to her clients’ inner health and well-being as well as the care of their skin. We like to think about the skin as part of the whole person. As we cannot treat one part without addressing the whole.

These days everyone is affected by stress and anxiety and this can significantly impact the skin, from making problems such as rosacea and eczema worse to even triggering acne. So, a traditional esthetician who only recommends topical applications to deal with these issues fails to connect the underlying issue. Now conventional approaches to skincare usually uses invasive treatments such as Chemical peels, Microneedling, Dermabrasion which rely on changing the biological structure of the skin. In holistic esthetics, beautiful skin is achieved without invasive techniques that have side effects.

Here at PURE Holistic we want to treat the whole you naturally!

Body Waxing

Body waxing is based on that all of the body.  Waxing is a form of semi-permanent hair removal which removes the hair from the root.
Almost any area of the body can be waxed, including eyebrows, face, bikini area, legs, arms, back, abdomen, and feet. Waxing makes the skin soft and smooth.  It not only removes the hair but also exfoliates the dead skin. Exfoliation of dead skin cells makes the skin soft and smooth.

We offer two types of waxing.  Sugaring and Regular waxing.

Sugaring is consists of lemon, water, and sugar. Ingredients are heated together until it reaches a candy-like consistency. Once it cools it’s applied directly to the skin in the opposite direction of the hair growth and then removed.  It is not painful.  Hair growth 3 weeks. It is highly effective as it lets you avoid skin trauma and hair damage.

Regular waxing hurts a little more but hair growth is 5 to 6 weeks. The skin will be less sensitive if waxing is done regularly. Over time the hair follicle will have less and less of a grip on the hair to be pulled and the hairs will come out more easily. Another reason to wax frequently is that you may even experience less hair growth over time.

Facial & Body Scrub

Body scrubs contain exfoliating ingredients that have a texture you can feel, such as sugar or salt. By clearing away the dead cells that make skin look rough and textured, body scrubs help soften and brighten your skin. Benefits of body scrub include promoting efficient circulation, skin cell turnover, removing dead cells, smoothing and softening rough, dry skin, freeing ingrown hairs, drawing out impurities, and clearing congestion. A regular facial scrub is recommended as it is the perfect way to toning, Blackhead removal, Bag removal, Wrinkle softening by revealing a more youthful, radiant complexion by bringing a new layer of skin to the surface. This is a non-surgical facelift and scrubs are anti-aging, skin tightening, acne treating, face lifting, hydrating as an aesthetic. Deep cleansing Facials Includes exfoliating, mask, tone, serum, moisturizer, and facial massage.
